This class was a great six weeks. I learned a lot that I did not know before. It has pushed my limit of how much I am studying because it was a six week course, it is three times as fast as a sixteen week course. Personally, I did not like week 5 of Health Education because four discussion posts, one mini-unit assignment, a project, and a ePortfolio “midterm” check were due on the same day. This could have been prevented by allowing the ePortfolio midterm check to be due on Week 3 or Week 4 of the class. I did complete all of these on time, but it has caused me to lose my sleeping schedule routine. I used to sleep prior to 11PM, but now sleep at around 2AM. Hopefully I could fix my sleeping schedule by the time Spring Semester comes around in a week or two. Another thing I did not like was that I could not see the assignments that are due for the next week. It causes me to do nothing with my free time and I would have to wait for that upcoming Monday to view the assignment. I would have liked it if I could do the assignments on my own pace, even if I were to be ahead of the class. Health Education 044 has taught me so much about health and wellness, food intake, body image, intoxication, stress and anxiety, and more. I finished discussion posts early so that I would not forget, which meant having to read the chapters on Monday and Tuesday to write up the discussion posts by Wednesday. I liked finishing the discussion posts early because the initial posts were due on Thursday and the responses are due by Sunday. If I were to wait to respond to my classmates, I would totally forget to reply and miss the points given. I completed my projects on time by writing most of it up by Wednesday and slowly finish it by the due date. This helps me not stress out because I am not procrastinating and waiting last minute to finish an assignment. I would always check the calendar to see what assignments that I have to finish and check with the modules to double check if those were all of the assignments that are due. Overall, this class was fun and exciting to be enrolled in and hope that others will enjoy this class as well.
